Current Updates

Religious’s Formation Current Updates

Volunteer assistance is needed for the 2008-2009 Religious Formation Program.

Catechists are individuals who share their faith with our children.  Catechists are given textbooks and materials to help the children complete the curriculum for each grade level.  Additionally, each grade level participates in several community service activities throughout the term.  Our weekly class sessions are one hour and fifteen minutes in length and catechists are asked to arrive 15 minutes earlier than the children each week.

Co-catechists work closely with our catechists, either by sharing the responsibilities equally, or by assisting the catechists in fulfilling their responsibilities.  Co-catechists need to be available for the weekly class session on a regular basis.

Session Helpers assist us by providing supervision in the hallways during our class sessions.  They patrol the exterior doorways into the school building, escort children from the classrooms for early dismissal, and help us insure the overall safety of our children while they are in class.

Our classes meet on:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 4:15 - 5:30 PM
Mondays, 6 - 7:15 PM
&
Saturdays, 9 - 10:15 AM

All interested parishioners are asked to call us at 724-7454 for further information.  Be assured that you will truly be a blessing to us, and the rewards you receive will be great!

The St. Patrick’s Religious Formation Office may be reached at 724-7454, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The office can also be reached by email at
