Dedicated in 1966 by Bishop Walter Kellenberg, St. Patrick School
opened the following September. Today the school consists of
approximately 600 students in Nursery through eight grade and is
staffed by lay teachers and Sisters from the congregation of St.
Joseph. All teachers are certified by New York State.
The curriculum follows diocesan and New York State mandates.
Students also participate fully in diocesan and state testing
programs. The development and enrichment of the spiritual life
of students continues to be first priority of the administration
and faculty.

its monthly meetings and ongoing committee work, assists the
principal and pastor in matters related to the operations, policies
and goals of St. Patrick School. Membgers are invited to
bring their individual talents, life experiences and faith
perspectives to the shared mission of promoting quality
Catholic education. Any member of the parish or parent or
guardian of a St. Patrick School student may seek election to
the Board.

together with a common goal of being of service to the school
community. Its mission is to assist the principal and pastor
in promoting the spiritual, intellectual, and physical well being
of the students. All parents of enrolled students are
considered members. Members in good standing pay small annual
dues. The guild runs several fund raisers each year that pay
for a variety of school activities and equipment.
