If you are a parent or caregiver for a youngster ages 1 1/2 to 3, join us
at Playtime with Mommy
Dads, grandparents, etc. also more than welcome. The program is
held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:45 AM.

group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 1 PM of every month at the
Knights of Columbus Hall, 130 Lake Avenue South in Nesconset.

The first weekend of the month, we will have the offering
for the Hungry and homeless. Please look for the Hungry & Homeless
boxes at the church exits and be generous in sharing God’ blessings.
Wanted: Used Cell Phones
Do you have an old cell phone at home collecting dust? Your donation
of used cell phones can benefit our community, our environment and our
parish. Just look for our cell phone disposal boxes located at the
church exits. Batteries, chargers and other wireless accessories may also
be donated.
The Life Center in Deer Park is in need of the following items:
- Car seats (both infant and toddler)
- Strollers (especially double strollers)
- Toiletries (i.e. wipes, baby soaps, shampoos, diaper rash
creams, powders, etc.)
- Crib sheets
- Formula (especially regular Enfamil with Lipil or regular
Similac with Iron) / Baby food
- Bottles
- Clothes for girls and boys (Sizes 0-6 and 18-24 months
especially needed)
- Hooded towels
- Wash cloths
- Diaper bags
- Socks
Thank you for any help that you can provide to help support
women and babies in crisis. Donations can be dropped off
at the Life Center location at 1767 Deer Park Avenue, Deer
Park (across the street from St. Cyril & Methodius Roman
Catholic Church, and next door to Boyd-Carratozollo Funeral

Youth Community Update
Congratulations to our 5th Grade Girls’ CYO team
coached by Mike Redmond, who won CYO’s
highest honor, “The Sportsmanship Award.”
Spring Dek Hockey registrations are due by
February 13th. See below for details.
Body, Mind & Soul, a new program for all to
promote a healthy lifestyle of nutrition and
exercise meets on Mondays, from 10:40-11:40
AM at the Youth Office. Please note we will not
meet on February 16th. Call Cindy or Angela at
360-0185 for information.
Regarding Sports Parking, please park only on the
east side of the property. Enter sports court at east
gate entrance.
St. Patrick’s Youth Gift Certificates are available for
purchase, great for gifts. Call 360-0185.
Enrichment/Extended Day Program -
Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 6 PM, homework help, arts/crafts,
computers, indoor/outdoor gym activities, snacks,
games & more. Three-year-old, Pre-K extended
hours, 8 AM–2:30 PM. Before/Aftercare also offered.

Music Ministry.
Wednesdays, Keegan Hall, Children’s Choir (grades 1-5),
6-7 PM. We will begin again on February 25th. All are encouraged
to join.
Folk Group (grades 6-12), 7 - 8:15 PM. New rehearsal schedule:

A musical group open to young people in 7th through 12th grades.
The Folk Group and Folk Group Band perform at the 9:00 AM Mass,
the Youth Christmas Show and other events.
- Children's Choir

A Choral group open to children in 1st to 6th grades. The
Children's Choir performs at some Sunday Liturgies and the Youth
Christmas Show.
- The Blue Lancers

A drum, bell and bugle corps. that performs competitively and in
parades and other events.
- Camp St. Patrick

A five-day a week summer camp for children ages 3 to 14.
The camp offers a wide range of on-campus activities as well
as trips.
- Learning Center

Tutoring for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
SAT preparation, study skills and Catholic High School entrance
exam classes offered.
- Enrichment

Day care, before and after school/camp care for children four
years old and up. The program offers a secure environment
where children learn and grow.

Girls in grades six through twelve perform in the Youth Christmas
Show, in parades and in the youth reenactment of the Stations of
the Cross.

Social Ministry
Employment Network Program
Free guidance program for anyone seeking employment.
This program has been in operation for about 15 years
and has serviced over 3,000 individuals. Experienced
counselors will help you sharpen your job-hunting skills.
Sessions held on consecutive Monday evenings cover
career assessment, planning and research, resume writing
networking and interviewing. First session is March 8th
at 7:00 PM in the Community Room of Our Lady Queen of
Martyrs Church, 53 Prospect Road and Mill Dam Road,
Centerport, NY. Advanced registration is required. Call
Parish Outreach at 631-754-9045. Please bring a resume
if you have one.
Stop by the Rectory to order Masses for your departed loved
ones. Please note that the Mass Book fills quickly.

We will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following the 12:10 PM
Mass until 3:30 PM in the church. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
will be recited at 3:00PM. Please join us as we adore our Lord Jesus.

Join us in praying the Rosary.
The First Saturday Devotion was first mentioned by Our
Lady of Fatima on July 13, 1917. Eight years later, on
December 10, 1925, Mary and the the Child Jesus
appeared to Fatima visionary Lucia, again requesting
this devotion, saying that “many souls will be saved and
there will be peace.”
Detailed information on how to participate in this
devotion will be available in the Church.
