Youth Community News
With Spring comes the promise of new life . . . We would like to wish everyone a Blessed Easter as our journey through Lent is almost complete.
This time of year welcomes our Spring programs which include Spring Deck Hockey, hiring and sign-ups for Summer Hoops, Softball, and Baseball. We will also offer clinics run by Charlie Peck, Dave Shouler and Jason Hernandez of Pro Hoops. Please take a look at our website - stpatsyouth.com - for all the important information.
CYO Basketball was another success for our teams. I want to thank all of the coaches and participants for their hard work on and off the court. As our Intramural Basketball program draws to an end, we are ever grateful for Brian Lally who coordinates this vast undertaking with the assistance of all the grade level volunteers. Without the participation of the valued volunteers, our programs would not flourish.
I also want to thank all of you who helped us maintain the courts by picking up your belongings as you left. Please also be mindful of the siblings who come to spectate. You are ultimately responsible for their well being while they are watching a game or event. There is no substitute for your watchful presence, even at church.
On Wednesday afternoons from 2:45 to 3:30 PM, we are hosting an awareness program that highlights healthy lifestyles through diet, exercise and prayer. Feel free to come and join us in the Youth Office. Enrichment and Mommy & Me continue take sign-ups during the school year. Vacation Bible School will also be taking registrations for limited availability.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via email at spyouth@optonline.net or call us at 360-0185. We look forward to seeing you soon!!
