Election Inspectors Needed
The Suffolk County Board of Elections is recruiting Election
Inspectors. There is a $200 per day per election Reward
for those who provide their service as an Election Inspector.
Those who are interested should call 631-852-4525 or fill
out and return an application card (available at the St.
Patrick’s Rectory.)

Stand up for the Homeless
Friday, June 27th, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Sts. Cyril &
Methodius Church, Deer Park
Stand Up for the Homeless is an event which will attract
homeless individuals to a centralized location to provide
them with needed services. Representatives from
government and not-for-profit organizations will be available
at the event to discuss and provide services for those in
attendance. Volunteers will also provide haircuts and
distribute food, water and other essentials. Volunteers are
needed to help distribute items, direct attendees, etc. If

Wedding Rehersal Volunteers Needed
Everyone loves a wedding! Our parish needs your help with
wedding rehersals. Please consider giving one Friday per
month to this ministry. If interested, call the rectory
(265-2271) or leave your name and number with one of our clergy
after Mass.

Calling all Teenagers & Men and Women of Ages
Please share your talents with the residents of the Nesconset Nursing
center. Any amount of time you can give will be appreciated.

Baby Girls in China in Need of Adoption -
Baby girls in China need homes. Infants and toddlers
available. Older parents and singles welcome. For

- Birthright Smithtown Office
Birthright provides counseling, positive alternatives to abortion
and other help to girls/women distressed by a pregnancy.
Birthright is a non-profit, non-sectarian volunteer service,
offering pregnancy test kits, layettes, maternity clothes, and
referrals for medical care, housing and other community resources
- free of charge. If you would like to help Birthright in its
Pro-Life work, please call the Smithtown Office at 360-7707. The
hours are Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Training will be provided.
- St. Catherine of Siena Hospital
Do you love working with people? Do you have some retail
experience? The busy gift shop at St. Catherine of Siena
Hospital in Smithtown is seeking volunteers for weekend and
evening hours (Saturday & Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM and
Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 8 PM). Duties include
cashier and stocking of merchandise. Please call

Hope House Ministriesis seeking a full-time person for work in the
evenings at Pax Christi Hospitality Center. Pax Christi is an
emergency housing facility serviing males 16 years of age and
older. The applicant should be a male who is interested in
making a difference in the lives of the homeless. Please contact
