St. Patrick Parish Outreach invites you to give Jesus your Gift of Love!
Christmas is a time for gifts of love and gifts of sharing. When
we celebrate the birth of the Christ Child, we can envision his delight as we offer our gifts of love. That vision can come to life through our REACH FOR A STAR project as we offer our joyous gifts to the Christ in a needy child.
The underprivileged children of Bay Shore, Brentwood, Central Islip, Coram, Mastic Beach, Patchogue, Huntington
Station, Life Center of LI, LifeNet, Brookside Pediatrics, Options for Community Living, St. Catherine's Nursing Home and our own hurting Parish families will be the center of our Parish Outreach gift giving this year.
On the weekends of Nov 25/26 and Dec 2/3, Christmas trees will be present inside the church. These trees will hold stars specifying gifts to be purchased. You are asked to choose one of the designated items and to purchase it for the child or adult indicated.
You are asked to:
- Pick a star of your choice and remove it from the tree.
- Buy the gift. Wrap the gift and tape the star on top of it. Gift receipts are appreciated. New gifts only please.
- Place the gift on the altar when you attend Mass on Dec 2/3 or Dec 9/10.
Please return all gifts by Sun, Dec 10 to allow ample time for distribution. Monetary donations are gladly accepted. Envelopes are provided in the weekly offering packet.
